Jason Bourcier Program Director
Jason Bourcier is a program and operations leader with 20 years of progressive experience in agriculture. As Program Director for FarmSafe Manitoba, he works with partners across academia, industry, and government to advance agricultural safety through practical awareness, training, and outreach initiatives.
Jason is dedicated to strengthening the culture of safety within Manitoba’s agricultural community. His work supports practical prevention efforts that help producers reduce workplace incidents and fatalities while contributing to a safer, more sustainable future for agriculture in Manitoba.
Born and raised on a Manitoba grain farm, Jason brings a lifelong connection to agriculture to his work. He graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Arts in Integrated Studies, with a concentration in Animal Systems.

Morag Marjerison Farm Safety Consultant
Morag Marjerison is a qualified safety and health professional with more than 30 years of experience, including 25 years specializing in farm safety.
Originally from England, Morag moved to Manitoba in 2004 and joined KAP as Farm Safety Consultant in 2016. In addition to her safety career, she has owned and operated farms in both the United Kingdom and Manitoba. That hands-on farming experience helps her understand the practical challenges producers face when balancing safety legislation, best practices, and day-to-day farm operations. Morag uses her ability to see things from both sides of the fence to help farmers develop practical solutions, meet their responsibilities, reduce incidents, and maintain safe farms.
Morag has also led projects with several farm commodity groups to develop safety resources and manuals specific to their members needs, making it easier for individual farms to begin building their own safety systems.
