Farm Safety AED Giveaway

Help us grow farm safety in Manitoba!

Farm safety is critical, and we want to help you take real steps toward making your farm a safer place.

We’re giving away an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) with a wall mount and fast response kit—a total value of $1,700!

To qualify, sign up for a free safety consult, complete the consult, and implement at least one safety action on your farm.

How to Enter:
  1. Sign up for a free farm safety consult (virtual, phone, or on-farm)
  2. Take action by implementing at least one farm safety measure based on the consult’s recommendations.
  3. Confirm your action with us to be officially entered.
  4. Complete the consult before August 31st, 2025.

Who Can Participate?

  • Open to Manitoba farm operations of all types and sizes.
  • Only one entry per farm operation.

What You Can Win:

Each qualifying farm will be entered to win an AED package, which includes:

✔️ Fast response kit for emergencies

Contest Details

The contest will run until August 31, 2025. This contest is open to all Manitoba farmers (farm owners/operators or farm staff) over the age of 18. Once the recipient is chosen they will be contacted via email. Prizes will be sent by mail to the address provided by the recipient.

What Safety Actions Count?

After your consultation, you’ll receive recommendations for simple but meaningful safety improvements. Some examples include:

✔️ Setting up a Safety Noticeboard with emergency contacts and procedures.
✔️ Conducting a Safety Orientation for new and returning workers.
✔️ Reviewing and updating emergency response plans for your farm.
✔️ Ensuring equipment has proper safety features and emergency stops before seeding.

 

Winner Announcement

Farm Safe Manitoba will make two attempts to contact the winner via email.

If the winner does not respond to the emails informing them of their win within 14 days of the second email, they forfeit their right to the prize, and Farm Safe Manitoba reserves the right to select and notify a new winner.

Delivery of Prize

The prize will be sent by mail to the address provided by the recipient. The winner will allow 14 days for the prize to be delivered, otherwise alternative collection or delivery arrangements can be made through mutual agreement.
